SPORT 2000 Schweiz AG (Switzerland) is founded as a subsidiary of SPORT 2000 Germany.
The “Sport & Fashion” concept stimulates expansion in city centers and shopping centers.
SPORT 2000 rent now has more than 600 rental locations, making it one of the largest ski rental organisations in European ski areas.
Fachsport-International, the predecessor of SPORT 2000 Germany, is founded.
Expansion, especially in winter sports areas (Sport 2000 Montagne).
Golden Team International, the predecessor of SPORT 2000 International in Switzerland, is founded.
The international alliance of national organisations in Germany and Austria joins forces with the French group and continues under the name SPORT 2000.
